Cherry Blossom Festival in Copenhagen

Yesterday’s mood was overshadowed by the very moving march for peace in Ukraine, but it was very life-affirming to see the huge crowds that had gathered at Langelinje for the Cherry Blossom Festival. There was traditional music, food tents, lounging spring-loving people everywhere, ladies in traditional yukata and even a samurai! This was the first real spring day after a long and dreary winter and Copenhagen was on fire!

Even in the midst of all the worry and sadness, we must remember to enjoy life and bring joy around us. Happy Sunday!
